The annual organ festival in Mafra is back — and it promises to be better than ever!
This year, no fewer than 11 exciting events are on the programme, all offered free of charge. Alongside the traditional organ concerts, the festival brings together a rich mix of artistic collaborations: organ with choir, ensemble, brass, or even a stunning soprano.
In addition, visitors can enjoy a lecture on the historic organs, as well as a unique conference held in the breathtaking library of the National Palace of Mafra, dedicated to the music performed on the six (!) organs of the Basilica.
In short, with so much musical diversity and the magnificent historic organs in and around Mafra, there’s no chance of getting bored. Enjoy!
